ARTIST’S STATEMENT

For a former Interior Designer, colour is always important and part of the attraction of using glass is the possibility of introducing colour. In turn, because of its reflective and ethereal quality, glass is the perfect foil for the heavy solid metals and stones, which Anne sometimes incorporates in her work. Anne is fascinated by organic forms, which can give some exciting effects when carried out in glass because of its reflective qualities and yet another dimension can be added with the possibility of including colour in the glass.
