ARTIST’S BACKGROUND

After taking early retirement in the year 2000, I chose to indulge a long unrequited passion for art, and enrolled on a 2-year Foundation course in Art and Design at the Surrey Institute in Farnham, Surrey and studied kiln-formed glass at Richmond Art College.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

I am inspired by the beauty of nature in all of its forms, including the human body. I strive to find ways of showing these forms which enhance their beauty, and which use light and colour to reflect my passion for glass, and my desire to communicate with people looking at my work.
