Lizzy Ferguson

ARTIST’S BACKGROUND

Lizzy has always had a keen interest in the arts and enjoys working with space and objects on various scales. She has a degree in Theatre Practice, specialising in Set Design and previously gained a diploma in Display and Exhibition Design.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

After using different techniques and creating various forms in glass I have gained a particular interest in turning familiar and everyday objects into a negative form. The viewer is prompted to take a new perspective on items normally taken for granted. My work continues to evolve with quirky ideas and thought-provoking results.
