ARTIST'S BACKGROUND

I have no previous experience in art and consider myself to be a novice and outsider in many ways. I have always been drawn to glass as an art form because of its vibrancy, the contrast between such a hard medium, its fluidness and its sculpturability. I studied kiln formed glass at Richmond College.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT

My work often is a reflection of my own personal beliefs in Buddhism, the inter-connectedness of all life and my own personal story. Additional influences come from nature as well as the nature of my work as a Family Therapist in the NHS.
