ARTIST’S BACKGROUND
I have always had an interest in colour, form and media and have followed several courses of study in both painting on china and working with glass. In glass, I have explored the various techniques used in fusing and casting to create three dimensional pieces, panels and jewellery.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I lived in Cornwall for many years, where I became interested in china painting. This led me into exploring the possibilities of working with glass. I started by making small fused pieces but this developed into more ambitious projects through my studies at Richmond School of Art.
