ARTIST'S BACKGROUND

Tania’s glass studies commenced at Richmond Adult Community College, followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Architectural Glass at Central Saint Martins, London. She is now living and working in her home city of Perth, Western Australia.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Tania Porter is a glass artist responding to the journeys she has made and the places she has visited. She makes small, precious, one-off and limited edition studio glass pieces, which have a personal narrative.
Her work has an abstract emotional quality with a hand worked, highly finished surface, subtly of colour and seductive tactility.
