Informal Get-togethers
Do you ever decide to go along to an exhibition or gallery and wish you had a glass-buddy with you to enjoy the event? A number of our members have said that they enjoy meeting up with fellow artists (we don’t all stay holed up in our studios every day). However, we know that it’s sometimes hard to ask people who are not our closest friends. So, to this end, we are going to trial our own Just Glass WhatsApp group.
This group (it’s a voluntary opt in) Just Glass Get-togethers will be a platform whereby you can post if you are off to an event and ask if anyone else is going (or would like to go). This might be for events such as:
Caroline Reed has volunteered to be the WhatsApp administrator (setting up the WhatsApp contacts).
If you would like to be added to this Just Glass Get-togethers WhatsApp group, members can email Caroline ([email protected] ) with their mobile phone number and she’ll add you to the group - make sure you have the WhatsApp app!
It will be an informal site that any participating member in the group can use to post if they have any opportunities for an informal get-together.

- Setting up a small group to talk face-to-face or via Zoom to talk over a glass technical issue etc. (it would be up to the instigator to make the arrangements and not the WhatsApp Administrator)
