ARTIST'S STATEMENT
My work explores the expressive possibilities of colour and translucency in glass. it invites viewers to discover stories held within shifting layers of colour, texture and illumination. ARTIST'S BACKGROUND
I spent more than a decade running a successful contemporary art gallery curating themed exhibitions and represented a diverse range of artists at leading art fairs across London and Europe. Although I loved championing the work of other artists, I found myself increasingly drawn back to making. Closing the gallery, I returned to study and soon discovered glass while attending Studio Glass courses at Richmond Art School under the guidance of Monette Larsen. I immediately recognised glass as the medium that challenged me and pushed me to create and express my own creative voice. I now exhibit and sell my work through galleries, coming full circle.
