Cathryn Shilling celebrates 10 years since the beginning of her professional practice and studio with Hidden Gestures her first solo show at the Vessel Gallery in London www.vesselgallery.com 4th June to the 22nd August. Follow her on Instagram @cathrynshilling to see the progression of her work as it was being made and prepared for this exciting show – all at the same time as moving to new studio premises! 2019 British Glass Biennale – 23rd August to the 28th September, Glass House, Stourbridge. Over 200 applied and 74 were accepted. Commiserations to those who were not successful and congratulations to Alison Allum, Anuradha Cook, Jessie Lee, Cathryn Shilling and Maria Zulueta whose work was selected for this prestigious exhibition. https://www.rmlt.org.uk/Pages/Site/international-festival-of-glass/Category/about-the- biennale
2019 International Festival of Glass 23rd to the 26th August Stourbridge - Pam Fyvie, Hannah Gibson, Ingrid Hunter, Rebecca Laister, Tlws Johnson, Jessie Lee, Julie Light, Linda Morley, Wendy Newhofer, Brett Manley, Purnima Patel, Jacque Pavlosky, Harriet Pelham, Annie Ross, Cathryn Shilling, Deborah Timperly, Jane Vincent and Myra Wishart will all be taking part in CGS Celestial Bodies exhibition. We look forward to seeing the varied interpretations of the theme – there are c.124 entries.
Also showing at IFG in the courtyard will be work by Jacque Pavlosky, Jane Vincent, Purnima Patel and Linda Morley. https://www.rmlt.org.uk/international-festival-of-glass
