ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I love working with colour, pattern and geometric shapes. After over 20 years of kiln working glass in many forms, my inquisitive approach to glass and an engineering background, has led to a 3 year focus on experimentation with Foam Glass. A degree in Civil Engineering and 15 year career as a Senior Site Construction Engineer , proceeded my 20+ years as a Glass Artist.
Increasing my understanding of the material science of glass, and constantly improving my ability to control glass in its molten state, is the core of my motivation.
