ARTIST'S STATEMENT
Inspired by Surrealist art, memories and images from the media, I seek to create an inner world in glass that reflects on girlhood and milestones reached, whilst capturing some childlike quality. I am currently working on a series of kiln-formed glass sculptures - each containing layers of drawings and a core cast doll I had since childhood. CONTACT [email protected] |
ARTISTS BACKGROUND
I studied at Central St Martins (University of the Arts) and various Adult Education Colleges. I have worked in a variety of media but my interest in glass started at Richmond Adult Education college (RHACC). My tutors have included Sabrina Cant, Angela Thwaites, Max Jacquard and Monette Larsen.
