ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I have often made objects which I hope suggest personal emotions connected to home. The unique qualities of glass lend a poignancy to any subject concerning memory, history and reality and the contradictions of the material can be used to reflect the contradictions of life. ARTIST'S BACKGROUND
I have been making with glass for around 25 years and particularly enjoy the casting process. I also enjoy learning how and why other artists make what they do. I have taught glass techniques for ten years or more to both leisure and degree students and have learned a great deal from the experience. I have made several installation pieces.
