ARTIST'S STATEMENT
Most of my work utilises the reactive properties of Bullseye glass. I enjoy experimenting with temperature to maximise reactions whilst also creating texture and "windows" through the glass. |
ARTIST'S BACKGROUND
I discovered glass later in life and after attending a number of one day courses I enrolled at Kensington & Chelsea to undertake the BTEC level 3 in glass and ceramics. Since then I have attended a number of masterclasses with artists that inspire me and whose work I love. I was one of 4 glass artists selected for the "Inspired By..." 2016 competition for adult learners which was run in conjunction with the V&A. Since then I have had work selected for online exhibitions with the CGS. I continue to learn, experiment and strive to develop my own style.
